Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
If you're looking to clean up mess fast and efficiently, a robot vacuum and mop is the best way to go. The top robot vacuums and mops in my tests have top-notch mapping and navigation and are able to pick up Cheerios wires, tangled wires and fake dog turds without leaving them behind.
They're also user-friendly with an app that lets you schedule cleaning tasks and see what they're working on.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
If you're searching for the most effective robot vacuum and mop combo with bleeding-edge features, take a look at the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This top-of-the-line model is quick and agile it can remove debris such as human hair and pet hair nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It has a sleek app interface that comes with an interactive map of your home, as well as buttons on the screen to allow manual control.
Another noteworthy feature is the S8's ability to adjust its cleaning mode according to the amount of dirt it encounters thanks to its Dirt Detection technology. It will stop and wash its mopping pad more often when it encounters dust while it will prioritize carpeted areas to mop with a damp pad.
The mop roller comes with several other clever features, including a dock that connects to your home plumbing system to wash and clean it without you having to refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant in the S8 it is possible to use voice commands to specify rooms cleaning options and precise control with just your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those who want a hands-free robot vacuum that also has mopping capabilities. It's one of a variety of robot vacuums with mops, but comes at a lower price than most of the competition.
Like most robot vacuums, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it started. This involves establishing an account on the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once you've completed that, the machine will begin to vacuum and mop with ease.
It is important to remember that the mapping process could take a while and the Yeedi Cube may need a few attempts before it has an accurate picture of your space. The object detection is an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able to skirt around furniture and other obstacles, but it was stuck on a rug with tassels, and had to flip over to get it out of the way. These are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those in need of an all-purpose cleaning tool that can do all of the above.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete delivers a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its mopping technology is advanced and features an inclination that is similar to hand scrubbing which results in floors that are actually cleaned and not just being swept. Its detachable stick-vacuum is a game changer that allows you to reach spots even robot vacuums can't.

The model is basically identical to the well-known X2 Omni but with a slightly increased suction power of 8,700Pa and a few other smart features. The upgraded RGBD sensor is able to learn your home's surroundings better and provide dynamic obstacle avoidance. The app's smart feature allows you to customize a number of settings, including AI cleaning and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping and has both the robot vacuum as well as the mop returning to their charging station after each task to wash their pads, empty their dust bins and then place the debris in bags that self-seal. This keeps the system clean and prevents allergens recirculating. The battery life is long enough to remove large areas without the need for a charge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a high-end robot vacuum and mop that has impressive features for affordable prices. It features an impressive 8,000 Pa suction, a rotary floor brush for carpets and a great obstacle avoidance. It also has an innovative mopping system that uses a roller that is continuously dosed with water to pick dirt and then deposit it in the water that is dirty tank.
Its navigation system performed well. It stayed clear of steps and walked close to walls without falling. However, it had trouble with fine-grained debris and wasn't always able to clear raised room thresholds. The operating noise level is also quite high, so it may be a less reliable set-and-forget model than some.
As with most robotic vacuums and mops the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that allows you to refill its clean water and empty its dust bin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to an established schedule. Eufy's app allows you to manage all of its functions. It gives you a clear overview with plenty of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is among the top vacuums/mowers on the market. It provides amazing results when it comes to mopping and vacuuming. The LIDAR sensors for mapping can identify furniture legs, obstacles and other obstacles with reasonable accuracy. The app allows users to fine-tune the map coverage, set up no-go zones, and even alter the cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush was designed to stop hair from wrapping itself around it. This can be a major problem with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too, with Reuleaux triangular mop pads that spin at 180 RPM and exert up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system incorporates intelligent carpet detectors, which lift the pads up when they are close to soft surfaces to avoid contamination.
The docking station acts as an unmanned maintenance center that automatically washes and dry the mops, and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust for seven weeks of hassle-free operation unlike traditional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins each time they need to be empty.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars less than the S8 This robot does a bang-up job at keeping my home office clean and can also tackle the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to make an outline of your area and knows where not to go. It has an object/obstacle detector that can block things like dog bowls and toys (but not the poop) unlike most vacuums.
It also comes with other highlights, such as an automatic emptying dustbin and a mop pad self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water and a side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas other mops miss. You can also set your own cleaning schedule within the app and adjust settings for every room in your home.
Similar to the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping that can differentiate between laminate, carpets and hardwood with high-pile rugs. It also lets you skip mopping rooms that are not clean if you want to save time. It's an excellent option for those who have a variety of flooring in your home but do not want to invest the money to buy a Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop that is able to handle both regular daily maintenance and touch-ups for wet messes, this robot is a good choice. It offers a broad range of features, including self-emptying dustbins as well as a separate water refill dock, and adjustable settings within the app. It's quite quiet and can navigate between furniture legs and socks effortlessly. It's not able to remove the tangled tassels of rugs and it's battery drains slightly more quickly than other models we tested in our tests.
With a cost of less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and handy automation into a slick design. It didn't do as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the more expensive Roborock S8MaxV Ultra, but it still performed very well overall. It also comes with a range of cleaning modes to suit your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for light debris to the more robust 'Turbo' mode that is ideal for rooms with carpet. It can even remove and reconnect the mop pads without causing your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot vacuum and mop for those who live in cramped spaces. It's very quiet and fast and is a great choice for navigating tight spots. It also does a nice job of getting pet hair out of carpeting.
It's smaller than its rivals, but doesn't sacrifice any features. It has good suction power and can be programmed to take pictures of each object it chooses (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys), and mark them in the app as 'not found' to ensure that they are not picked up again during future cleanings. The photos are secure, and not tied to you account.
It is great at vacuuming, but it's not so good in mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes you clip onto the bottom of the bot and it basically drags them across your floor. Compare robot vacuum cleaners reviews to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that have water reservoirs that can automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
